In 2018, I had been working on a Colorectal Cancer Canada project as part of GBC Food Innovation & Research Studio team, developing and testing healthy recipes that can fight cancer. I had personally developed the Lentil Buckwheat Pilaf with Pumpkin Seeds, Carrots and Goji Berries recipe and Chicken Orzo with Kale & Turmeric recipe, both inspired by my Russian and Cypriot backgrounds. I had also contributed to the Frittata with Artichokes, Tomatoes, Feta Cheese and Rosemary recipe and Lemon Blueberry Muffins recipe. [siteorigin_widget class=”WP_Widget_Media_Image”][/siteorigin_widget] The research show that 1 in 2 Canadians may develop some sort of cancer during their lifetime, and 50% of cancers are actually preventable and influenced by diets and lifestyle. Food That Fight Cancer is a great project by Colorectal Cancer Canada that had already saved many lives. You can follow this project and read more of its recipes HERE. Health is the first thing that I keep in mind when developing my recipes. More than that, all of my recipes are nutritiously rich and many are plant-based. You can find more of my recipes HERE.
